Fohhn Audio AG is a respected German professional sound reinforcement company, manufacturing since 1993. Headquartered in Nürtingen near Stuttgart, Fohhn is one of Europe’s leading producers of line source speakers and Beam Steering systems, deployed in the most demanding acoustic installations worldwide — from cathedrals and opera houses to congress centres and sports arenas. All products are made in Germany, with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
The LX-60 is the flagship model of the LX (Line source Xperience) series, designed for professional sound reinforcement in large spaces. By employing multiple drivers arranged in a line column, the LX-60 generates a sound beam with a controlled coverage pattern that minimises ceiling and floor reflections. The result is noticeably better speech intelligibility and music clarity compared to traditional point source speakers — especially in acoustically challenging rooms with long reverberation times.
The LX-60 enclosure combines professional acoustic construction with discreet design that allows installation in heritage and prestige venues without compromising their aesthetics. Available colour options and flexible mounting — wall, ceiling, or stand — give AV designers full freedom in sound system design.
Paired with Fohhn XS series subwoofers — particularly the XS-22 or XS-30 — the LX-60 creates a complete, full-range sound system with consistent audio quality at every volume level. Precise acoustic parameter and power matching between Fohhn components ensures natural sound reproduction without phasing issues, which is critical in applications requiring the highest speech intelligibility.
