    Ryoji Ikeda – Solo Exhibition

    The Palace of the Republic. Mr. Herbert – The Traveler

    The exhibition Pan Herbert – Podróżnik invites visitors to follow in the footsteps of Zbigniew Herbert, the author of Barbarian in the Garden, and delve into his philosophy of travel. Accompanying the poet’s manuscripts were immersive audiovisual installations that filled the walls and ceilings of the Palace of the Commonwealth with a dynamic interplay of visuals and sound.

Nan Goldin – The Ballad of Sexual Dependency.

As part of the group exhibition BOHEMIA: History of an Idea, 1950–2000 at Kunsthalle Praha, one of Nan Goldin’s most famous works, The Ballad of Sexual Dependency, was presented. This piece is an intimate portrait of the life of the artist and her friends during the 1970s and 1980s. In her sound installation presented at Tokyo’s Sogetsu Plaza, Katarzyna Krakowiak-Bałka employed modern audio technologies that allowed her to realize a unique vision of a sound-based ikebana. Through carefully selected technologies and tools, the installation became a multidimensional experience that engaged viewers on both auditory and spatial levels.
